FL la compulsory idi…meeru ela install cheyincharu….okkokkadu okko rate cheptunnadu…too confusing…ranging from $1500 to $10000…Home Depot/Lowes sell these for as low as $800….labor cost to install should not be that expensive…not sure what J am missing…DB pedhalu and home owners who got this done…kodhiga enlighten cheyyandi…

naaku 2k ayyindhi. With water softerner plus carbon filter for whole house. completely outsourced., Plumber recommeded some industrial unit. they dont even sell in retail market anukunta.

Buy from Home Depot and install yourself. Around 400 and parts maha aithe 100. This is true only if you have open basement. Closed aithe if you are comfortable with drywall cuts and other patching work, try yourself.

I went with discountwater softener been using for 3 yrs now, so far satisfied( 10yrs resin warranty and annually $40 for salt)

price: 1100(with some promo)+ $500 for install/supplies

i also got undersink RO unit(costco)  in kitchen for drinking water( addicted to sweet /mineral less water)
