How do you stop being Hindu?

move away from India and stop interacting with people from India on their terms.

means pretend like you've never been in India and don't understand any reference to the culture they make during interactions with them. make it clear that you are not interested to learn about some hellhole 3rd world country

your atheism won't stop you from it. your muslim/xian identity also won't.

yes. But thankfully for me, I hate India. so its easy for me to give up my Hindu identity. and along with it all other sub identities connected to it.
