Inequality అంటే ఆదాయంలో హెచ్చుతగ్గులు… మన దేశం లో ఉన్న ధనిక-పేద వ్యత్యాసం మరే దేశం లో వుండదు...

ప్రతి ఇంటికీ ఒకటే ఆదాయం ఉండదు…కొందరికి ఎక్కువ.. కొందరికి తక్కువా వుంటుంది… 

మన ఆదాయం …అంబానీ అదానీ ఆదాయం ఒకటే కాదు….చాలా పెద్ద తేడా వుంది…. 

GDP లో UK ని అదిగమించాం అని సంబరపడే మనం…GDP per capita , gini index (income inequality and happiness index) ని ఎందుకు పట్టించుకోము…? 

అసలు gini coefficient and lorenza curve ఎలా పనిచేస్తాయొ తెలుసుకోకుండా జడ్జ్ చేస్తే ఎలా… 

పైన చెప్పినట్టు ప్రతి గడపకి ఆదాయం ఒకేలా వుండదు…అందుకే lorenza curve అని ఒక measuring tool తెచ్చారు… 

Avergae lorenza curve ఇలా వుంటుంది…తక్కవ ఆదాయం నుంచి ఎక్కువ ఆదాయం..

ఒక వేళ దేశంలో ఉన్న అందరికి సమానంగా ఒకటే ఆదాయం ఉంటే…అది perfect equality line

 

అదే ఒక వేళ దేశంలో 99% జనం సాదారణ ఆదాయం పొందుతూ అంబానీ అదానీ లు నిమీషానికి కోట్లు గడిస్తే ..అది perfect inequality line like below… 

 

పైన చెప్పన రెండు curve examples నుండి gini coefficient ఎలా వస్తుందంటే.

 

ఇది క్లుప్తంగా Lorenze curve..కాని ప్రతి దేశం ఒకేలా ఉండదు కాబట్టి…different equivalence scales వచ్చాయి…like house hold definition and household coverage… 

if you take example of average family...2 adults and 2 kids...by using three different scales...that household income varies....
