Convoy reportedly cancels shipments as questions swirl about status of Seattle trucking marketplace.

Reports emerged Wednesday that the company canceled loads from its marketplace. Employees were reportedly surprised by the news, and not given more information about what’s to come for the 8-year-old startup.

FreightWaves CEO Craig Fuller said Convoy “appears to be winding down operations.” Other freight carrier representatives posted about the news, aiming to attract new customers.

GLADSTONE, NJ —Massive layoffs will soon be underway as Pfizer will be cutting nearly 800 people from its Gladstone location in the coming new year.

Pfizer will lay off 791 employees on Feb. 12, 2024, from its Somerset County corporate office, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification(WARN) Notice shared by the New Jersey Department of Labor.

This announcement follows the company's plans to cut $3.5 billion after COVID-19 revenues fell, according to fiercepharma.com.
