Overall he's not a bad actor and his script selection would have improved over time anyway.

No hero in the Industry lost four big banner movies in single year. 

Even pawan Kalyan made terrible movies for a decade with same OA and all and yet he kept getting offers..even Varun Sandesh kept getting number of offers while happy days being super hit..Kotha bangaru lokam musical hit..

How can he improve script selections ? All big banners stopped production halfway..only Suresh productions completed the movie.. if no big banners come forward how will he even act ? 2002 was big successful year for him..throughout the year his posters where everywhere..it was in 2003 ..-2004 no big producers came to release his movie..how can that happen all of sudden ??? That too with no flops..

Why engagement fixed ? 

She got cought on tank bund in compromised positions with drugs.. multiple times. Police said we can't keep ignoring them for long. He want to marry her off.. she said I want Uday Kiran - the then teenage girls heart throb.

He would have improved his script selection had that boycott by the industry against him not happened anedi naa bhaavam.
