my perspective:

just make sure you have a paid off house to live in. bonus if you can have a property that can generate some passive income. you said you have lands so that also works.

software job chesko... for your profile easy ga 50L + istaru...which is more than enough to live a very good life.

50L isthe happyga vellipovachu. Paid off house ledu but can save some for a downpayment I guess.

kid should be fine. schooling India lo start cheste all set avtai. US citizen kabatti college time ki India nachakapothe US lo chaduvukovachu.

Naa friends circle la almost 5-6 people have returned back to India. Almost all of them had 2-3 year preparation, they made multiple visits to set up stuff back in India and during this time, the kids spent quite some time India to get them used to the environment there….

Nuv kuda 1-2 year prep tho start chey instead of a sudden or quick plan..
