The aim of the fed is not decreasing prices to pre pandemic but stop inflation, they don’t want a deflation but stop inflation. Hence the prices are not going to go lower but wages, spending others are going to get adjusted over the time.

the GDP grew 3% in December and the inflation is getting lower by every month and at this rate we might see 2.5-3% inflation by July.   I think the fed may have dine done the impossible i.e. soft landing is very much a possibility
