Classic example of what happens when u sleep instead of taking action.

had fed acted in 2021 mid, things would have been totally different. They delayed the action by almost an year and even now they r increasing in 0.25’s instead of being aggressive.

the gap between richer & poor widened a lot.

Housing prices thagguthaya antey general ga thaggali. Naaku last jan lo X amount ki pre approval ichina bank ippudu 0.8X ki istha antundi interest rates peragadam valla. Affordability thaggindi.  So housing market paduthadi lekapothey alaney straight line lo untadi. Upside ki chaala time undi. Inkoti depends on ur budget tooo. Bay area lo aithey 1-1.5m homes ki full competition untadi ippudu. Above 2.5 ki no competition

Most of the major tech companies missed expectations and going in layoff route. They wont be hiring(or minimal hiring) for next 2-3 years.

IMO...

wait for Feb14 bro...for CPI...

and FEB 23 for GDP second estimate...

there are few factors...we saw the unemployment report today...lets wait for other factors..

1. Unemployment

2. Inflation

3. GDP

previous few months inflation was cooling down...in case if it shows the signs of up trend (worst case)...then fed might go for bigger rates hikes...

I watched google’s earning call yesterday. Cfo gave many indirect hints about it.

Actually golden oppurtunity for mid level companies & starts up to grow. Will see how much they captalize

My opinion:

We will have a soft landing (subject to change based on data) and some of the companies are already optimistic about future.

Housing is already improving as interest rates came down for mortgage.

Auto sector lo Tesla punyama ani EV prices are going down and so are used car prices.

Crude and natural gas prices are going down

So, we will have a very good CPI and Fed may not have a reason to increase interest rates much further.  This optimism is seen in markets over the past 1 month.

With housing prices slightly down, come April (Peak for housing prices last year), we will see that going down as well.

It's not about inflation anymore.
