SamanthaPotineni Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 I completely agree with you on the benefits of regular massages for stress relief. I've found them to be incredibly helpful in managing my own work-related stress and overall well-being. Consider visiting chiropractors. They offer treatments that can complement massage therapy, such as spinal adjustments and posture correction, which can further alleviate stress and tension. Quote

I find it incredibly relaxing, calming and rejuvenating - perhaps with age and work related stress I am finding this more useful now. Currently I go for a massage once a week. Trying different places - since each masseuse has her own style and incorporate their own methods. Recently had one where the masseuse used Ashi-Atsu - a deep tissue barefoot massage. It was a fantastic experience. For any individuals on here who face a bit of work related stress or stress of any kind- I highly recommend making massages a part of your life routine. I tried massage couple times and my stress levels went way up. Don't work for everyone I guess. Quote
boinpallyraos Posted June 19, 2024 Report Posted June 19, 2024 Regular massages, they've been a lifesaver for me too! Over time, I've tried various types like Swedish and deep tissue, mainly to tackle back pain and ease the stress from long hours at work. Each session brought its own kind of relief, especially deep tissue for those stubborn knots and muscle tightness. Lately, I've been going to this physio clinic nearby and their massage therapy has been a game-changer. I've even been thinking about getting a massage chair for home. It'd be so handy for those days when I can't make it to the clinic but still need to unwind and soothe my muscles. Quote
