Location: Milpitas/Sanjose, engineer needs to come to office at least 4 days a week

 

 

 

         Configuring Virtual machines - Cisco UCS servers/config ESXi/Vcenter setup/ Windows server configurations

 

         Using Wireshark analyze the packets.

 

         Must have Wireless domain knowledge since engineer is going to work on wireless innovation BU.

 

         Network management application Knowledge (ex: DNAC - map to floors/aps , heatmaps)

 

         Setting up the lab with wireless controllers & configuring it - virtual 9800 - create using intel based NUC System

 

         Controller configurations on various features QoS, vlans, policy, tags, ssid

 

         Cisco Access Points configuration 9120, 9130, 9136, 9166

 

         Testing the controllers & Access points traffic with different vendor devices ex: Meta VR device

 

         Shield Box setup knowledge, external AP setup knowledge

 

         Python scripting knowledge with netmiko/paramiko knowledge / terraform.

 

 

 

         CCNA required, CCNP is preferred.

 

         Manage all lab inventories, maintenance of lab equipment.

 

         Hands on experiences with setup/upgrade/configure Cisco devices, knowledge of DNAC, DNA Space is preferred.

 

         Good Wireless knowledge, able to configure WLC, APs. Such as installing images, configure policy and tags, familiar with CLI commands and willing to learn.

 

         VMWare or equivalent virtualization knowledge, Cisco UCS knowledge preferred.

 

         Willing to work intensely for a shot amount of time.

 

         Basic Wireshark skills

 

         Any programming skills is a plus
