Position: Network Engineer

Length: 18 month contract

PR: $30 hour (w2)

Position Type: Hybrid on W2 Only

Location: (100% remote)

Client: Hyatt/People Caddie

 

Required Skills:

 

Will be the primary engineer in focusing on New Franchise Hotel openings and closing. This will involve :
1. Expertise in setting up , troubleshooting and maintenance of IPSEC VPN tunnels on ASA firewalls and Silverpeak SDWAN appliances.
2. Expertise in setting up and troubleshooting of NAT Policies, and whitelisting on Orchestrators like FMC, Silverpeak EC, CDO etc
3. Configurations of ASA/FTD firewalls and Cisco Switches
4. Responsiveness and planning capabilities to co-ordinate with Franchise Owners to establish connectivity.

Job Description:-
1) Cisco Voice Administrator
2) Support Cisco Voice hardware, including Cisco Call Manager and Unity Voicemail Systems.
3) Work daily Incident and service requests Service Now (SNOW) tickets: analyzing, troubleshooting, completing remediation efforts to resolve VoIP issues with the assistance of the Network Voice Engineer.
4) Support the completion of changes and maintenance within approved Maintenance Windows
5) Follow process and procedures for wiping equipment with the assistance of the Network Voice Engineer for equipment to be returned to storage or a vendor
6) Support Cisco VOIP PBX, voice mail phone system.
7) Trouble shooting customer connection issues, installing/repairing phones
8) Provides site Smart hands support for network and voice engineers
9) Participation in the On Call rotation to provide 24/7 Network & Voice system support
 
****Responsibilities: ****
• Remote (with some onsite) resource position responsible for service installation and turnup. Coordinates, tests, turnups of Cisco Voice (VoIP) and Voice mail..
• Maintains service by being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for resolution and service restoral of customer affecting outages, performing hardware and software upgrades and performing maintenance on equipment.
• Installs primary product equipment (Voice ) and associated support devices.
• Perform general administrative requirements pertaining to timesheets, inventory records of equipment and ticketing system (SNOW).
