if Data is not important, take Hello mobile 5$ permonth, unlimited calling in USA, unlimited to India but only 500mb data per month. This is also a T-mobile MNVO.

They stay home, then you give phone, mean while buy cricekt or mint for 10$ and if they travel and want to call India, you conference them through your phone.
