religious rituals are different from bad cultural practices (like sati, dowry, patriarchy, etc) that are coming for generations.. if we mix them up, we will not make any progress.. if you question the religious identity, people will become more fundamental..

ippudunna version is horrible to women and actually everyone other than brahmins. easy to guess who the authors are.

you maybe projecting your own thoughts on to others. I questioned and did not become more "fundamental".

On the other hand tons of instances where no one questioned and it increased a lot.
