Small correction: majority of companies are like that 

you build a piece of software, market it by making people believe its life changing, go for ipo make money and jump. final bakra middle class share holder 

ex: amzn goog uber …. Any name same result

Byjus is a big time scammer..

He conducted quiz co.oetetions at state level saying big huge  prize money for winning teams.. and took help of tv channel for first round..all expenses paid by him.. like 10 lkh price money for winner 

 

After first round he cancelled the quiz competition.

 

Basically for entering quiz competition..he collected details of kid, age and parents..around 2 lakh parents shared the details..as soon as he got the details..he cancelled the program.  And next month onwards he started calling them until they joined him for online tutions and gimmick classes..

That's what I was saying about loan sharks... And even banks are involved as they get commission. 

These people take 100rs or 200 rs with confusing payee names every few weeks so many people won't even realize for months.
