Breaking: Tesla Model Y Price cut

Good is relative word - more grip, better ride and low noise tires won't last long. Also, Tesla high torque means rubber is burnt each time you accelerate.... They also don't have much tread to begin with.

I replaced with non OEM tires... Increased noise , subpar handling.

You really need to accelerate very slowly and drive like a 60 year old Chinese lady to get even 35k from these tires.

Some are successful in getting some money from Michelin

Good to know, ee lekkana na thokkuduki 15k ne vasthayemo

I think prices will go down further.  Just keep an eye on delivery dates. If they don't go to June-July in the next 2 weeks, then they really have a demand problem and the prices have to go down again

cyber truck is coming...they will concentrate on that from year end. have to maintain deliveries till end of this year.

They can reduce further. Model 3 refresh may add few more sales, but they added too much capacity - 4 giga factories compared to just 1 couple of years ago.

They need all the demand they can generate...

avvi ravu…you deduct that amount from taxes you owe…if you owe less than $7500, you are not taking full advantage of the credit

Stop spreading this please. This is 100% incorrect.

Your fed tax liability through out the year should be > $7500. Anthe kaani year end lo 7500 kattali ani emi ledu. Talk to CPA who will explain better.

clean energy ela man? you are only transferring carbon emissions else where. because electricity use to charge the car is being generated with coal, natural gas etc. now you dig up earth for lithium or other battery making materials.

No tax credit is to your liability govt won’t pay , for example your fed tax is only 3500 dollars , then you will get 3500 credit and you will forfeit remaining

if your tax liability is less then 7000 k and you are employed you shouldn’t buy a car this expensive and should look for some thing around 20 k

Yep...

How much it can go lower? Probably another 2k or 3k. At that point, they undercut pretty much every EV competition and also eat into RAV4 and CR-V.

It's not Tesla that loses after that - every EV manufacturer can't compete with them.

Advantage Tesla has is that they can sell base model for less and make it up - they can even sell advance auto pilot on subscription for 100 or 75$ per month and generate good income.
