Dallas is currently going through a Black Friday like shopping event.. andaru edo ikkadaki vacheyyali, illu koneyyali ani aathram lo unnaru.. they are not doing proper analysis on whether what they are buying is really a deal or not..

Add events like anand bazar (india day celebration) batukamma or holi or I have not seen this kind of celebration with thousands of ppl and good food it's like awesome experience for me..

no state taxes , good schools , lower crime(this depends on where you come from) , lots of indian events , easy to enroll kids in classical dance and music.

 

cons - too much heat , less greenery , overwhelming desi crowd , becoming way too costly , less jobs for h1s

 

 

Few decades back people moved to Midwest for better jobs  like Chicago surrounding 

Now tx few decades down the line they move to different hub in. Search of better comforts.

 

You can see how great  steel city like Gary went from prosperity to ghetto 

Few decades down the line Dallas might become one...

It's all part of circle... My two cents

I only moved to Dallas because of the hype..
