How does $7500 federal tax credit actually works ? For year 2023, do we have to owe IRS 7500$ or more so that $7500 will be waived as part of the credit ? Any idea ?

Yes.. if you purchase the car in 2023 and you fall within those income limits..

Oh federal tax ah $7500,, I thought the amount we owe to IRS when we pay less taxes due to more dependents
