Attending a mental health group can be a good step forward. It's a chance to connect with others who might be going through similar experiences and share advice and support. An addiction hotline can also be a great help if you need immediate help or just someone to talk to. They're often staffed by trained professionals who can offer guidance and support at any time of day.I've never attended a mental health group myself, but I think it could be worthwhile. It's always nice to know you're not alone and that there are people out there who understand what you're going through.

has anything changed or improved since then? Sometimes just having someone to talk to without judgment can really help. If anyone’s still struggling, have you tried writing down what’s on your mind daily?

It helped me clear things up more than I expected. Also, curious—anyone try meditation or exercise as a way to manage things?

I’ve been through something similar and talking to strangers or posting anonymously online actually helped more than I expected. I also found mentalhealthhotline.org useful—it connects you with real people who get what you're going through. Sometimes just saying what’s on your mind without fear of judgment makes a huge difference. Don’t let it build up inside.
