Thokkalee
Modernization takes at least 50 years.. and it requires lot of nationwide political will and people participation.. Chinese started this in the 70’s and are reaping the benefits now.. India started in mid-late 90’s.. may take another 50 years with the current political setup in the country and the states.. it is tough to sustain the development with forever changing political dynamics in such a federal structure like India.. I understand that politicians and people do need to work hand in hand for the country to develop. But Unfortunately I don't see much progress except with some infrastructure projects. It's not only the infrastructure development which changes the fate of the country. I strongly believe that It's the mindset of the people which changes the fate of any country. To be honest I don't see any change in mindset of the people. Still the same people voting based on money, caste and religion

Midnightsun
There is a lot of disparity between blue collar jobs and white collar jobs. Indian spirits don’t encourage blue collar or actual research. The system encourages movies, entertainment and breeding lazy spirits. in short gut feeling had no scope in india Gut feeling is the base of commies and they put lot of effort to make it happen in reality.
