Bay area is vast. SFO has completely diff weather than Tracy and Mountain house. Usually there is 10-12 degree difference in temperatures between them. Dublin/San Ramon is in between.

Dublin/San Ramon is East Bay. SFO/Palo Alto is bay area. Mountain house and tracy are outskirts.

Skin Cancer - enda valla kadhu, UV rays exposure valla vastundi. Ozone layer above US is very thin compared to India. That's why people in india do not get skin cancer even though its hot there. But US has a lot of skin cancer issues. That's why people suggest to use sunscreen.

It's more of a risk for light skinned people not us.

Me moving from Fremont in Bay Area I can tell u Atlanta is awesome compared to even Bay Area. Let’s not even compare shitty Texas and coldly Midwest or east coast to Atlanta. 
not just weather even quality of living is great here like huge homes which are affordable with good schools, low crimes in suburbs(most of Indians live in suburbs only),  proximity to beaches, greenary everywhere, sub-tropical weather, huge Indian communit, many more..

how on earth people are surviving without SPF to avoid cancer

SPF sunscreens and fair and lovely belong to same class, fooling enough people to make it appear as reality.

can’t spend outdoors for 3-4 months in summers due to heat until 9pm and can’t spend outdoors during winters due to cold. 

Austin is not cheap anymore 

Austin lo u still have to travel for more than 15 mins for any Indian stuff like Indian grocery, halal meat, Indian movies, etc

Austin don’t have easy beach access

Livermore is hot but Tracy and Sacramento are different story. Very hot. 

Home prices are reflected accordingly. Homes in Sacramento/Tracy are cheaper compared to Dublin/San Ramon/Pleasanton.

yes i lived in LA and bay area for almost 10 yrs. its hot but nothing compared to Dallas. i miss bay area alot. if not job transfer i would never imagine moving to dallas. i always want to mive back to bay area.lot of things for kids to do and learn justifies the taxes. by the way frisco is becoming very expensive considering the slaries people get here. so even ca is expensive the salary ranges are pretty high.
