Just to give an example, I have a friend who bought the same way.. 5% down for a 550K house in the Austin area.. Leases a luxury car with a $1000 payment monthly. He keeps saying I don't have money every time.. The thing is he is rich in India, he doesn't care about savings here nor for retirement or child's college.. He wants to spend it all and enjoy it...
