If you're surviving solely on your salary abroad & don't have assets worth more than 3 crores, move to the US without any hesitation. Because India has nothing to offer you nor your kids. If you don't have any property in India but have a regular job in the US or a first world country, consider yourself very lucky for having an opportunity to make money in the first place.
