In this week we visited 3 days to SBI just to setup NRE NRO account for my wife...(still work is not done...we may have to visit next week also)

Too much paper work and confusion in the bank...from desk to desk process and paper work changing..

Old people and village people are really struggling...for every desk for every small work KYC needs to be updated...all KYC happens at only one desk with huge queue...

Some villagers and old people scolding them on the face...bank is just managing with police...whoever talking loud and questioning they are escorting them out.

Otherside private banks are least trustable (among old and rural) so people are approaching SBI...So SBI is taking advantage of that situation..

Digitalization doesn't make sense until India fixing the rigid banking system and endless paper work and xerox copies of aadhar & sensitive papers are flying around....

My experience with SBI was different Bro. Online lo apply chesi, notarized documents post chesamu. Visited bank after a year or so once to get debit card passwords.

India lo kuda online lo apply chesi documents submit chesthe better emo..

Private banks are the best bro, go for HDFC or icici or Axis
