psycopk Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Heard that Lokesh Naidu, son of Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu, is all set to enter the media business, close on the heels of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, son of Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. According to highly placed sources, Lokesh is likely to be made chairman of “Aksharam,” a Telugu daily proposed to be started by Chandrababu Naidu. He will take care of all activities pertaining to the launch of the daily. Sources said Naidu is planning to take over Surya daily, launched by realtor Nookarapu Suryaprakash Rao, as the daily is running in heavy losses. He will make use of the machiney and other infrastructure for the Aksharam daily. Suryaprakash Rao got a good bargain from Naidu; but he wants the name Surya to be retained. However, Naidu wants to give it a completely new shape and name. The deal is stuck up at that stage, sources said.
