Pico de gallo is a fresh salsa that originates from Mexico. It's known for its vibrant flavors and can be a great addition to many dishes. The best part is, it's super easy to make and doesn't require any onions or ginger. Here's a simple recipe for you: Ingredients: - 4 ripe tomatoes, diced - 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped - 1/2 cup chopped cilantro - Juice of 1 lime - Salt to taste Instructions: 1. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped jalapeno pepper, and cilantro. 2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and sprinkle with salt to taste. 3. Gently mix everything together until well combined. 4. Let the pico de gallo sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. 5. Serve with tortilla chips, use as a topping for tacos or grilled meats, or enjoy it as a fresh side dish. Anna, Traditional Pico has onions and tomatoes in equal measure. Also, the peppers used are generally Serrano and not Jalapeno. But then, jihvako ruchi.. Quote
