Its OK if it does not come. I typically look for stocks that come to my buy level and even then we have to do research why the stock is down and then buy.

For e.g. MMM is now at 100 levels. Its a premium blue chip stock which also gives 6% div. But price has been stangant. Because office supplies industry is down. Ppl are moving everything electronic and WFH disrupted its business. But its still a good company. Their business is diversified. A change in management will bring it back up.

But if they cut dividend or if market falls, it could come a lot further. So wait until the accumulation happens and then make a buy.

See the above excel sheet. You all have read access. I will keep adding all the stocks I track. I will add a glossary to define each field later.

Let me know if you need any other information in the sheet?

While doing this, I realized I should not be adding growth stocks here and only add well established companies. Ignore companies like LCID or UIPath and add more of GILD, BIIG, ISRG, VZ, etc.

The question of where to invest $100K, limited to just 5 stocks, is an interesting challenge that many would love to entertain. As always, it's essential to preface this with a standard disclaimer that investing in the stock market carries risks and it's crucial to do your own research or consult a financial advisor. The question of where to invest $100K, limited to just 5 stocks, is an interesting challenge that many would love to entertain. Have you ever tried picking winners based on consensus data? It's an interesting lens through which to view potential outcomes, and while it's a completely different ballgame compared to stock picks, the essence of making educated choices based on data and trends is the same.

No one should make financial decisions based on someone suggesting in a DB. The point is to use this platform to share ideas & support it with rationale. Its interesting to hear others ideas, sometimes conflicting too but you get to know others point of views.
