Either they have cease doing business in AP or they will be booked. It is more about: 1) audit compliance 2) are they reporting their customers to IRS who are depositing chits with them, in the audit they found one Vijaywada builder doing 50 1 crore chits i.e. 50 crores rupees. Last time when they faced trouble, Ramoji informed the court that we would cease the operations and pay back all the depositors. This was way back in 2005. It is 2023 and Ramoji has been still collecting deposits which is illegal and he is yet to provide proof of payments to the depositors. I think he now has a deadline, Nov 2023 to provide receipts of payments. On top of that, The Sahara judgment is now the reference mark for the Ramoji case. Plus, AP CID's investigation into Margadarshi Chits and no rules were followed and chits have been defaulted in huge numbers.
