Sorry Bro. I think you missed the point. Merit based ee location lo posting ivvalo decide avvadu Kani, ee post ivvalo decide avuthundi.

RDO, DSP, Asst. Excise officer, BC welfare officer, Asst Audit Officer etc. are posts in Group 1. Once you get a post you are selected to post you can't change without writing another Group 1.

For Eg: District Collector for Mulugu and Some assistant Secretary post in department in Hyderabad merit holder Ki isthe most probably they will select Hyderabad position than DC, leaving the DC post open and the one who has lesser merit gets DC post…

So, selection criteria la post allocation differs and merit is the not the only criteria. Average ga oka 400 posts vunte andulo plum posts oka 50 vuntayi and migita 350 posts departments and corporations ki potayi..

Hmm. Ok. We are on same page. In previous post you said,

So confused.

Just an additional clarification as far as I know there are no Hyderabad specific posts in TSPSC Group 1 also. Those secretariat related posts are Group 2 and below.

In the above Twitter (if it is real) the point doesnt seem to be about why some didn't choose a specific post. It seems to about how someone was systematically disadvantaged.

Why is it surprising? Even in UPSC exams, lot of candidates who get top marks in written get very low marks in Interviews. Writing prelims and mains is not the same as clearing interviews. Adedo pedda ghoram annatu raase batch ki UPSC/APPSC interviews and evaluation criterion gurinchi zero knowledge anukunta.

A lot of UPSC toppers had a less than optimal Interview score. Here is a list of toppers in UPSC and their interview marks.

Ekkada issue endhi ? Many people do fail in interview .ysr influenced interview board to get less marks ?
