Bonus is one time. They are currently have $250 (+ additional $200 from Swagbucks) if you open a new SOFI Checking and Savings account, and complete deposit of $5000 in one month period.

The interest comes only if you have monthly direct deposit. Its 4.5% APY now. Some banks are giving close to 5% APY, including Robinhood.

I do bank bonuses quite often.

Negatives - I don't see any..other than their interest rate is bit low.

    Any other banks we can trust and do some CD's which yield good return until market recovers.. I'm sure these are all FDIC insured up to certain amount.

    wealthfront is good. compare rates and decide. Avoid apple at any cost related to financials

    check FDIC insured amount is it 250K or more. Unless you have high savings no issues
