H4 ead processing time premium upgrade

In reference to this Thread , I have upgraded my h1 to premium. If my h1 is approved hypothetically, how many days does it take to receive ead card

First of all there is no premium for H4 EAD. after your H1B is approved, your spouse H4 should be approved in a month and H4 EAD took 1 month after that atleast in my case.

there’s no premium for H4 EAD but if you file all together and pay premium processing for H1b, they will process all at the same time. They even announced this in January, can find it on USCIS website

Latest as of today. H1 approved last week after upgrading to premium. H4 approved yesterday. 
 

ead is still under process, technically now h4 comes with i94. Since I have valid i94 and my wife has it too, can she take up new employment while EAD is still under process.

Yes she can. She will have some 180 days to work until her h4 ead is being approved but this is in case of extension only and she should have valid i94

I did jot apply extension for h4 and h4 ead with my h1b premium and now waiting for my wife h4 visa approval😞
