this is the real problem. dozen castes are claiming chola lineage, and pandya lineage after release of ps-1 couple years ago.

its not worth it. plus stories should be about people who lived in that era, not about great kings, who are all murderers and authoritarians.

its okay to show chola king as an insufferable egomaniac, starving his people, and being mired in superstition in Yuganiki Okkadu.. That's the only way one should show a king.. as a ruthless self serving loser.

but even that movie dramatized the chola claim to power, and is cringe in that aspect.

his contributions to field of bio chemistry where ignored..some even destroyed and rediscovered after 50 years. .for which inventions they got Nobel prize but not subbarao.

Folic acid , methotrexate which still used for leukemia today was developed by subbarao .

 

If he lived till 70 age..most of the disease might have got a cure including all cancer forms.

If you make a movie saying his inventions were destroyed, the opposition, western world and muslim world will say this is politicized.

That's the trend in India calling everyone bhakts, just because some people saw merit in Indian way of life. After all Bhakti movement is one of the revolutionary movements in India
