Am I doing correct

Maa team contract vunnadu experience person but antha knowledge ledha edho chesam ante chesam vuntadu .. all his work needs code review and checks … bec he didn’t created any impact with his code ..mostly Jr developer la rasthadu ..memu edho chusi chudanatu vuntamu.. manager doesn’t know this…

 

eppudu higher manager and my manager asked can we offer FT ani … initially I was like vadhu evvadhu ani chepdham anukuna.. later I said ok idhamu ani …eppudu feeling bad ..thinking am I doing correct ..I should have said honest and genuine review ani..

You did wrong, let them hire him and will layoff you soon.

what if you gave a genuine review and his contract ended ? Then you'd have felt bad also, so you did the right thing.

Depends on ee level offer chesthunnaro kuda kada..seems he needs continuous guidance. SE 2 varaku aithe ok..

Vallu daggara pettukoni pani chese athanu aithe elagu manage cesthadu le. Don't beat yourself too much on it..there is no right, wrong. It is all subjective

You had 2 options .. 

1. Be genuine and give an honest review. He would not be hired mostly. 

2. You sympathize with him and let him get hired. 

Its always good to have an inferior resource in the team. Your importance will grow. There will be a scapegoat during layoffs. Was this the reason you let him get hired? That's OK. You took the decision, move on now. No guilt.
