Home price remains steady amid demand, despite rising mortgage rates

There is enough demand for housing but supply is less. From Jan next year prices will go up steadily even with 8% interest. Whoever is looking to buy home and can afford it, this is your best time to buy!!

Correct. It will ballon from here to 20%. If mortgage rates fall it would be 50% at least.

I don’t think mortgage rates will fall at least for next 3-4 years. House prices will go up 3-5% in most of the locations. People who are ready with cash are the kings.

people who’re expecting for rates to come down to pandemic levels(under 4) are delusional. That will never happen again. This applies to people waiting to refinance as well

Babu....if you understand US economy, it would be very clear that rates will have to go negative in future.

Why not? That can happen if US stocks and housing extreme crisis happen. Basically a repeat of 2008/2009 fin crisis and worse.

realistically we are no where near it.
