I remember the Khobragade incident. She did not pay the minimum wage, did not limit her working hours nor gave holidays, and abused her as well. She also lied on the visa application about pay. Way different!

I saw success with many nationalities. My Indian friends in Dublin, Saratoga, Portland have Indian nannies brought this way. My Italian and Filipino friends in the PNW also have nannies. In fact Filipinos share nannies. I have not had an elaborate discussion with Indians about this but my Filipino friends mentioned it in a casual discussion as a passing comment that their reason to bring nannies is because their food culture is so different, with the food allergies their kids have, they cannot rely on Caucasian nannies. Also, it is easier for their old parents to communicate with nannies from their culture.

They will complain about working extra hours..no proper accommodation..work abuse like yelling and making them awake late nights..using bad words..these are enough for them to file lawsuit and get away with asylum
