As per that link it is changing for few flights. Flight number matters per my understanding.

Abu Dhabi got a new airport. Looks like only flights in a certain gate area have the pre approval. Others will fly from the International section but not from the area that is past the Pre clearance facility. 

Hopefully its a temporary thing.

Ya I hoping the same. They is some wording "transitional period" --- so slowly all flights ki it will be back avthademo.
