I totally agree that its gem of an innings (I said the same diwakaram’s thread also)… considering his endurance to pain, focus and relentless hitting. But the fact that he was able to get away with it “even when his lower body was cramping real bad”  tells volumes about Afgan poor bowling. There was an initial phase only when Afgan bowling was great that “Aussie Batsmen looked clueless”, but later its all freebies. That’s why I am saying can’t compare with Kapil’s innings, which was played on a green pitch and when Zimbabwe rattled through Indian batting, he stood alone.

Even if we ignore dropped catches part for both.
