this abortion issue and veg vs non veg issue…are classic examples…where people start talking about ethics than than individualism…

in my opinion….abortion shouldn’t be a political issue in the first place…its about individual ethics…later politics joined into it and messed it up to the core…

there's no veg vs non-veg issue, except in your head. you are unable to come to terms with the simple fact that you have inconsistent ethics on the question of meat consumption, making up random rules, and not having the decency to communicate how those rules inform your ethical choice. you are just an arrogant a$$.

what do you even mean by Abortion is about individual ethics?

there are two competing ethical values here, one that says that killing a fetus is murder - which is in fact true for fetus beyond 16wks, and in some cases even 8wks.

the other ethical value states that woman is free to choose what she does with her body. which is also fair. How do you adjudicate between these two competing claims?

oorkay don't wave away the hand saying that its not an issue. Scientifically it is true what the evangelists are claiming. when you abort a fetus beyond 8wks, and even more so 16wks, you are killing a sentient being that can feel pain.

Once an entity starts its heart beat in a mother's womb, it has it's own right to live....abortion is a crime as murder even opted by a mother herself..........
