Well said. They will squeeze out every free dollar accumulated from COVID times. Until unemployment goes 8% and above FED wont stop.

In facebook groups i see layoffs story everyday. Many have gone back to India as they dont have a option now.

To give a quick view of market here is an example. In our company we decided to hire a FTE role for software developer. The package is pretty normal (not even market standards). After posting the job in less than an hour i got 400 candidate applications from every background ( like Banks, FANG, retail, u name it)

Highlight was i saw candidates from Meta and Amazon...

Never thought i will be interviewing FAANG folks as ours is a small company.

You got be careful with faang. Ego clashes ki chances will increase or will leave once another option opens up.
