I have been #laidoff today from my job as a Senior Data Scientist at Walgreens Boots Alliance. The layoff was an administrative decision which impacted me and other employees at the company. Due to the layoff, my employment terminates in January 2024, which is also the same month that my current H-1B visa expires (6 years max out).
