even i want india to win

That's how every one is welcomed.. more or less. Mostly it's hotel MGMT - some 5 star hotels give garlands / some give tilak , some give welcome drink. This is extra for world cup teams...

akkada chaala resorts/hotels lo guests raagane manchi flower garland vestharu and give us some welcome drinks along with hot towel. 

Each country/place has some traditions...nothing to do with religion....its purely cultural
