if there is nothing much , take it easy and see if you can have a conversation with your friend (depending on how thick you are , I would always suggest to openly talk things through) as your friends has equal share in this relationship and how he manage his wife's expectation....if no change afterwards, leave things the way they are...

Ila manchi matalu chebite .. definitely you will be villain and now go and tell to your friend .. First take care of your wife and kids .this is first preference and rest all next . in front of his wife .. see the results after few days 

Then possible slowly do the action plan on  how to take care of parents .. not to telling . 

your friend has to maintain some gap what to tell and what not to tell with his wife .. first teach him this part
