Yeah if spouse doesn't work then unless if you make a good money, its going to be tough running a family here with kids.

Since u are 40, Kids must be in school already so big change for them...but I've seen few desi kids who came in after 10yrs age and still managed well...first 4 - 6 months obviously tough for them but they will get along soon.

Its finance which is most imp.....rental house lo undali and ippatlo own house konelaga situation ledhu. If ur not coming in EB1, then forget it man....H1 lo ee age lo vachi, hardly u will save money.

I’m not discouraging anyone here. Here is my opinion if you have kids don’t come to USA.  You or your family will never get green card before they go to college. You’re kids also suffer in h1b , f1  status. They are restricted to specific Job, why you want your kids to suffer like that.

Unless you getting paid 500 k , I won’t risk life to come here at the age of 40. 100k or 150k is liking living poor in USA, better of stay in India with 25 Lakhs salary

it depends on parents, if parents are old and if they have any dependency on you.. not worth it.. that will be the only factor

kids adjust avutharu not an issue.. and life will be comfortable compared to india

if you have old age parents, kids  and your US salary <200k  in big city --do not come

if you have kids>10 years with no GC/citizeship --do not come

if you have very young kids and have a definite plan of returning --you can come
