Couple of weeks back a couple of friends went to some nice location in CA for photographs. One is an aspirational photographer with top notch camera/lens who did a lot of amazing work already. Another is a novice guy who has photography skills like us but took his iPhone15. They both took photos. Both look same to me - Excellent. I cant tell which one is more professional.

Probably I need professional eyes to see the differences.. :D

if you are dealing with any professional camera…you need to take care of two things…”highlights” and “shadows “…. and next is “focus”…..so people who use professional camera they adjust this (exposure) and focus depends on the light..and subject…

iPhone lo mottam auto mode (shutter, iso, aperture)…so for every photo you dont have to adjust your setting….

phone photography is easy and its for daily use…if you want to do some advanced photography techniques like bracketing, focus stacking, micro photography…etc you need a professional camera…

camera strength is not body…its lense…you can switch to various lenses depends on the subject…like wide angle, zoom lens, cine lenses, nd filters..etc and also the gear…cameras have awesome gear like various tripods, waterproof cases, gimbals, trolley tripods..et….

iphone is clearly lacking in this…it just take a picture thats it…

and also editing photo (post processing) is crucial…most of the phones make it easy…so user doesn’t even know what is “contrast”…or “highlights” or “shadows“ or “tone graphs “…etc and i think iPhone is not evolved yet to edit the HD pic…but light-room or other softwares are good in this….

still in iphone we dont have magic erasers and sectional editing features (like just editing only particular section in photo…)…etc

as i said earlier …iphone just take a picture…and mostly selfies…it doesn’t be an option if we are going variety of different photography methods…

I printed a few shots but found digital frames way more fun to share and rotate my photos. I’ve been using nixplay.com to display my best pics at home—it’s an easy way to show off your work without cluttering space. Plus, my family loves seeing the latest ones pop up automatically. If you're clicking often, it's a cool way to keep your shots visible without always printing.
