for example, if the trip is for 2 months to india how long will wives stay at in-laws house and how long will they stay at mother's house? 

serious doubt bhayya, my wive is saying she will go to mother's house and middle lo 1 week she will come anta.. is that common?

my parents never got chance to spend much time with her bhayya so koncham expect chestaru kada

I usually make sure 1 month trip ki 1 complete week at my home. 2 months ki 15days. Otherwise no ticket booking.

More number of days at your home with parents directly proportional to more godavalu ….. less days better even if parents didn’t get much time to spend time  earlier … 

one week is enough for quality time …

Sensitive topic. Ask your wife to spend good time at your place and at the same time, you also spend some time at your MIL's place. That solves issue.

But its normal for your wife to want to spend more time at her mom's place for simple reason she is going there to enjoy and her mom will treat her as a princess. At your house, the expectation is for her to work or at least contribute. She wont be judged at her home for her habits or shopping but she will be judged at your home.
