Mom Travelling To Hyd From Sfo - Need Help

My mom is travelling to Hyderabad in December (Ethihad Airways) from SFO airport. I am looking for someone who can guide her change the terminals. kindly reply if anyone is travelling in the month of December so that I can postpone the ticket for that date.

Annayya try and look for some one who can guide her or accompany her till Hyd. In case if you can't, call customer service and tell them to provide her a wheel chair to change terminals and in Hyd too. She will not have much hassle to pickup her baggage and clear customs in India. You can also request cart service to change flights. However, in my opinion wheel chair is best. They can take her from the ramp to ramp all the way till she can board the flight.  All the best bhayya.

For parents always the best option

 

1. Post on Sulekha or other desi sites for travel companion and see if someone books for similar dates (or)

 

2. Call up airline and ask for wheelchair assistance by which they will take her to the gate directly even at connecting flights (or)

 

3. Goto the airport 4 hours earlier and wait at the airline checkin counter. You will find number of desis travelling by the same flight. Just talk to one of them for help and she can go along with them

 

For me always the 3rd option worked more efficiently.
