Botsa To Join Ysrcp, Jagan Offers Mlc

Former PCC chief and ex minister Botsa Satyanarayana is all set to jump into YSR Congress party as the doors for him are closed in BJP. Buzz has it that the way for Botsa's joining in YSRCP is cleared and none other than Jagan Reddy has given go ahead for Botsa. Considering that Botsa is senior leader from Uttarandhra (Vizianagaram) and a tall leader from Kapu community, Jagan is of the opinion that Botsa's joining would strengthen the party and draws Kapu voters closer to the party. 

Initially, Botsa tried all ways to join into ruling BJP. But his efforts didn't go well as there was a stiff opposition for Botsa from BJP and its ally TDP. Given that Botsa is under the scanner in several scams, even BJP turned down Botsa's interest to join the national party.

Jagan reportedly told the party cadre in Vizianagaram to welcome Botsa with open arms and work along with him. Naturally, the move did not go well with many YSR Congress leaders and they started pressuring YSRCP's top brass to reconcile the decision. In order to settle down the growing opposition, Botsa recently visited the house of Penmatsa Sambasivaraju who has been running the show of YSRCP in the Vizianagaram district. Botsa reportedly asked Penmatsa to ditch differences and offered to work together in YSRCP.

Meanwhile, the talk doing the rounds is that Jagan has promised MLC ticket to Botsa and even agreed to give prominence to Botsa family during the allocation of tickets in the next general elections
