I am moving from chicago to other place.What is the best way and cheapest way to move household stuff from one place to another.

 

Please share your experience and how you moved your stuff.

call different movers and get quote.  what ever you spend on the movers will get return in the Tax returns. 

Make sure you have the bills even though it is expensive and claim at the end of the year in tax returns, you will get each single penny in tax returns.

Otherwise if you sell the stuff , you will end up getting zero tax returns.

Ilage cheyali , if you want to get your money back in the tax returns. 

Recently I moved to East to Central, instead of paying to the movers, I sold  and donated all my stuff . 

During the tax returns , my CA told me thats the big stupid thing I did, where I can't claim in my tax returns. I end up with loss. 

He adviced me that if I have the movers bill I might have get everything with out loosing penny. 

But because of lack of knowledge , I lost my money in selling and donating my stuff for cheap and free.
