Thats sickening. But what to do? Its very widespread in our society. I have seen many cases in my life. In my relatives. They have got two kids. One looks dark skinned. her mother takes pride in the fair skinned one and keeps boasting about her studies and etc. And looks down on the other. I have told a few times gently but she never heeds. Luckily the girl with dark skinned doesn't care much and she is happy go lucky type, cheerful one. Sometimes, I am worried if that effects her when she is grown to an adult. Normally, childhood parenting issues crop up as serious problems when they are grown up, like low self-esteem, being reclusive, not being interested in socializing, getting depressed, being alcoholic and etc. i have witnessed another case, my maternal uncle. Observed outside relatives too.
