Another colossal fraud after Amartya Sen.

This is a left cabal that is intentionally doing all these awards, to directly help Congress or may be Sonia Gandhi family.

All part of BIF.

Anyway,

First, this guy is not an Indian. He has not paid a single rupee tax in India.

Second, to all educated pulkas who are going ga ga  over this idiot.

Here is a sample of this NYAY scheme.

https://www.businesstoday.in/current/economy-politics/mit-professor-abhijit-banerjee-suggested-minimum-income-rs-2500-per-month-congress-taxes-rise-fund-nyay/story/331823.html

The fallout would be that the Centre will have to generate additional resources to fund NYAY through higher taxes. Banerjee believes income tax rates will have to go up, wealth tax will need to be re-introduced and GST rates will have to rise. "Even without this, we're in a fiscally unsustainable state. Some major tax reform has to happen. Whichever government wins, they'll have to do. There's no fiscal space for this. You have to create tax buoyancy," says Banerjee.

So, basically what this Pulka was proposing was.

1. Increase personal taxes, meaning YOU and ME would be paying through our buttHoles as our income tax.

2. new concept called Wealth Tax, like taxing your inheritance, similar to UK, when you get money/property after death of parents, it will be taxed. Other wealth tax are also applicable.

3. Higher GST rates across the board.

Now Pulkas need to explain which of he above 3 they would support?

If they don't support any of them, WhyTheFuck are you supporting the idiot who is proposing it?

Sitharaman was spot on.

It's because it's not her who made the statement but CEO of Mahindra, a one Anand Mahindra who said the same, which Sitharaman quoted.

Regarding the stupid statement by Ravi Shankar Prasad, it was stupid. Just as stupid was debates on National TV on slow down of economy due to ParleG sales going down - See where it's going, right?

All the above is moot though.

Whether Sitharaman made stupid statements or RaviShankar Prasad is a moron does not have any bearing on Abhijit Banerjee's NYAY scheme details, which incidentally you DON'T want to discuss. Obvious reasons since no educated supporter of this fake would want to support higher income tax, wealth tax and higher GST.

In fact, I suggest you read WHY this man won the prize in first place.

Then, ask yourself why the country he is a citizen off and residing in has not implemented his own policies.

What nonsense,

Exactly why moron like RaviShankar Prasad brought up movie ticket sales.

Both are irrelevant.

ParleG sales are down but other confectioneries sales have gone up.

Still, none of these relevant indicators.

Both the groups, the ParleG as well as Movie ticket sales one are stupid and are plain-speaking for showmanship.

And you think India does not?

Dude, India spends more money on welfare schemes than USA.

Again, that's not what Abhijit Benerjee is speaking about.

He is talking about Universal Income. Last I was in USA, it's not there. Not sure if things have changed in the last few months. If they have please appraise everyone.

Strange you don't address the elephant in the room.- increase in taxes, Wealth Tax and Higher GST taxes.

Are you ok with all of them? Since that's what Benerjee is stating. He want's YOU to pay for NYAY scheme and keep your mouth shut about it.

The last time Congress shouted "Garrebi Hatao", does anyone know what happened?

1. Indira introduced 11 tax slabs. If you were earning 40k - 60k, you would be paying 60% tax.

     A person earning 10L - 20L, would be paying 80% Tax.

A person earning 20L and above you paid 97% Tax.

2. Inflation was at 29%

3. GDP at 1.2%

Yes, those were actual numbers under Indira.

Anyone wants to go back to similar number for NYAY?

Want to vote for Bernie or Warren and risk to see if they would bring something similar in US.

Vote Democrats and see the exciting ride they will take you ;)
