వేజండ్ల (చేబ్రోలు), న్యూస్‌టుడే: కట్టుకున్న భర్త మద్యం కోసం నిత్యం హింసిస్తూ చంపుతానని బెదిరిస్తుండడంతో వేగలేక... ఓ ఇల్లాలు తెగించి భర్తనే హతమార్చింది. స్నానం చేస్తున్న భర్త ముఖానికి సబ్బు రాసుకోగానే అతని మెడపై బలంగా కత్తితో వేటు వేసింది. ఈ ఉదంతం మంగళవారం గుంటూరు జిల్లా చేబ్రోలు మండలం వేజండ్లలో చోటుచేసుకుంది. పోలీసుల కథనం మేరకు.. అడపా రుద్రారెడ్డి(60) మద్యానికి బానిసై డబ్బు కోసం తన భార్య ఉమను పీడించేవాడు. కూలి పని చేసుకొంటూ కుటుంబాన్ని పోషించుకుంటున్న ఆమె ఈ వేధింపులు భరించలేక కొన్నాళ్ల పాటు భర్తకు దూరంగా వెళ్లిపోయి మళ్లీ తిరిగొచ్చింది. గత రెండు రోజులుగా రుద్రారెడ్డి ఆగడాలు మరింత ఎక్కువయ్యాయి. చంపుతానంటూ కత్తితో ఆమెను బెదిరించడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు. భర్త తనను ఎక్కడ అంతం చేస్తాడోనని భయపడిన ఆమె తానే అతన్ని హతమార్చాలనే నిర్ణయానికొచ్చింది. మంగళవారం ఇంటి ఆవరణలో స్నానం చేస్తున్న రుద్రారెడ్డి ముఖానికి సబ్బు రాసుకోగానే పక్కనే కత్తితో సిద్ధంగా ఉన్న ఆమె ఒక్కసారిగా అతని మెడను నరికేసింది. దీంతో అతను తీవ్ర రక్తస్రావంతో అక్కడికక్కడే మృతిచెందాడు. వీరికి ఇద్దరు పిల్లలున్నారు. వారు గుంటూరులో ఉంటున్నట్లు తెలిసింది.

Rip. So now not only is the old man dead but an article has been written justifying the murder without knowing his side of the story since he isn't around anymore.
